Workshop
Through Wall Human Being
Detection based on UWB Radar
Call for Paper
UWB radar technology has increasingly raised concern as one of the
fledgling research filed for a variety of applications. UWB radar can be widely
used in the field of military and civilian applications due to its good
penetration through most of the wall and target detection behind the wall. In
such scenarios, actions often need to know the position and motion of the
person within a building or behind the obstacle when terrorism or hostage
rescue. In case of fire or earthquake and other emergencies, search and rescue
personnel need to be informed the location and number of survivors buried in
the rubble. Therefore, the research of through-wall human detection technology
is important and necessary in today’s society. Topics of interest within the
scope of this workshop include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
(1) Through-Wall human detection based on Data Mining
(2) Positioning and Tracking of human by through-wall radar
(3) Through-Wall detection of moving targets by UWB radar
(4) Through-Wall radar imaging technology
(6) Through-wall target shape reconstruction by UWB radar
